Mallow Castle (house and gardens) is owned and managed by Cork County Council who are improving public access and use of this historic property, located at the end of the Main Street in Mallow. The works included new gravel surfaces to the existing entrance avenue and garden paths, repairs to the existing stone steps and restoration of the garden gazebo which had fallen into disrepair. Several popular public events have been held in the gardens since completion of these works.
