David Kelly Partnership provided project management and engineering services for the improvement of visitor facilities at Doneraile Court Estate, Doneraile, Co. Cork.
Doneraile Court Estate is an historic property managed by the OPW and open to the public all year round. The works were carried out in a number of phases and included a structural assessment of the existing house in preparation of work to open the house to the public. The works included repair and re-surfacing of the estate roads and pedestrian walking routes; the construction of rustic timber-clad pedestrian and vehicular bridges; the restoration of masonry bridge and entrance archway structures; and the restoration of building structures within the estate.
